On the 14 October 2013, the president of TEE (AEDE-Hungary), Irina Golubeva was invited to the University of West Hungary to give a presentation at the Intercultural Workshop "At home abroad". It was an excellent opportunity to promote the IEREST project, as the participants came from various EU and non-EU countries, including Austria, Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Japan, and the USA to share their experiences and research findings regarding the topic of the workshop.

The Workshop was organised by the Research Laboratory of Applied Linguistics and Language Pedagogy, the Research Laboratory of Applied Educational Studies, and the Working Committee on Inter- and Multicultural Education of the Regional Branch of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
