Preliminary results of the questionnaire on student needs are now available

Although the analysis is ongoing, we would like to share in this newsletter some of the preliminary results concerning the needs that mobility students have reported with regard to their abroad experience. In April 2013 the IEREST partners distributed the questionnaire in four languages (English, Italian, French, and Slovenian) to over 10.000 outgoing and incoming students. With 3.152 responses (a response rate of approximately 30%) IEREST now has a significant amount of data on European mobility students’ needs, opinions, recommendations, and aspirations with regard to studying abroad. This data encompasses students’ perspectives prior to, during, and after their experience.

Several findings included in this newsletter were presented at the colloquium Alma Mater per l’Intercultura at the University of Bologna (June 19, 2013) and shared with the Working Group on Internationalization of the Curriculum at the University of Leuven (June 5, 2013).
