On Monday, September 21, 2015, Basil Vassilicos gave a keynote presentation on IEREST at the first International Partners Conference at Northumbria University in Newcastle, England. After giving an overview of IEREST and sharing lessons and insights from the project, Northumbria's partner institutions were also given the opportunity to try-out a task from the Module 1 activities (for outgoing students). The reception was warm and enthusiastic, and opportunities to share and implement IEREST will be explored through Northumbria University's extensive international partner network.
