IEREST at the University of East Anglia

On 12 March 2015 Prue Holmes, the leader of the Durham IEREST team, gave a talk entitled "Intercultural engagement and the study abroad experience" as part of the Language and Communication Public Lecture Series, hosted by the School of Languages, Politics and Philosophy at the University of East Anglia. See the programme of the event here. The presentation was attended by students, staff and members of the public. There was an interesting discussion at the end raised by a student about implications of Erasmus students' intercultural engagement for home students, and from a staff member on the importance of the IEREST materials for universities as they internationalise.
